The remarks were made during the 11th session of the National Headquarters for Ceremonies and Occasions, held on Monday, June 22, to coordinate and plan the funeral proceedings for the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution.
The meeting was attended by Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Ramazan Mousavi Moghadam, the Representative of the Leader at the Martyrs and Veterans Affairs Foundation; Yaghoub Soleimani, Deputy Head for Cultural and Educational Affairs; as well as representatives from the Office for the Preservation and Publication of the Works of the late Imam and martyred Mujahid Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, alongside other relevant officials.
During the session, the Head of the Martyrs and Veterans Affairs Foundation paid tribute to the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS) and emphasized the critical importance of effective management for this historic national event. He expressed hope that through meticulous planning, the ceremony would be conducted in an exemplary manner.
“The Martyrs and Veterans Affairs Foundation, fully committed to this significant mission, will undertake all necessary cultural and social initiatives to ensure the success of this event,” Mousavi stated. “This ceremony must be etched into history as an eternal moment.”
Acknowledging the efforts of the organizers and members of the Office for the Preservation and Publication of the Works of the martyred Mujahid Imam Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Vice President urged all involved sectors to fully mobilize resources. “We must all work diligently to ensure this historic and monumental ceremony is held with the honor and distinction it deserves,” he added.
Concluding the session, the head of the Foundation expressed his confidence that with the cooperation of provincial authorities and various governmental sectors, the funeral would be conducted in the best possible manner.
